Enterprise version

Indicates that the function concerned is only available with the Enterprise version which allows you to edit terminology.

 

Administrator function

Indicates that the function concerned is only available if you have administrator permissions.

 

Optional function

Indicates that the function concerned is optional and, therefore, is not available on all WebTerm installations.

In order that you can clearly recognise when instructions are referring to a menu, or to an item that has to be entered or selected by the user, they appear in the following fonts:

Menu/Window/Button

Menu items, window titles, tab titles, options, buttons and icon names appear in bold type.

Open the Languages menu.

Click the Languages menu.

Select Show all

Select the option Show all .

User input

Text that has to be entered by the user by typing it on the keyboard appear in Courier italic .

Type valve .

Type the word valve on the keyboard.

Contents of lists, messages, files

The contents of option lists or files appar in Courier font.

Select German .

Select the entry German from the list of choices.

The program displays the message Completed successfully .

WebTerm displays the message Completed successfully in a message window.

Delete the entry
manual=ignore

The file contains the entry manual=ignore . Delete it from the file.

Content of variables

Angled brackets are used to identify variables that you have to replace by actual content. The brackets as well as their contents must be replaced.

Enter <Search term> .

Enter the term that you want to search for. E.g., if you want to search for raven , enter raven

Select <user> .

Select the desired user. E.g., if you want to select the user Carry Onn , select Carry Onn

File/folder names

The names of files and folders appear in Courier font.

The file ldvd.rbe is located in the folder \config\global .
