Customising Details view

What you should know

You can specify the details that WebTerm displays in the data record Details view.

Displaying the header - see here

Displaying language information - see here

Displaying additional entry fields - see here

Display additional languages - see here

This allows you to hide information you do not require so as to concentrate on the details that are important to the task in hand.

Displaying the header

You can specify whether WebTerm displays or hides the header of a data record in the data record details. If WebTerm does display the header, you can also specify the header fields to be displayed by WebTerm.

WebTerm automatically hides fields that are blank. This means that if there are fields in your dictionary that are always blank because you do not use them, there is no need to specify that they should be hidden.

In editing mode, all the fields that you select here are displayed for editing. Therefore, you should select any hidden fields that you wish to edit.
