Buttons on the standard user interface

If buttons are not displayed

If WebTerm does not show certain buttons, that means that you do not have the necessary user permissions to use them (see here). Please contact your administrator for further assistance.

General buttons

WebTerm displays the following buttons on the toolbar:

Help

Displays the online help.

 

Comments list

Displays the Comments list (see here).

 

New terminology request

Opens the comments window so that you can compose a request for a new data record (see here).

 

New comment

Opens the Comments window so that you can compose a request or a comment relating to an existing data record (see here).

 

Log out

Logs you out of WebTerm and displays the Login window again (see the section "Logging out from WebTerm")

With the Single Sign-On option, allows you to change dialog language and role (see here).

 

Swap languages

Swaps the source and target languages for the search (see here).

Buttons on the Search & Find panel

WebTerm displays the following buttons on the Search & Find panel:

Previous/Next

Navigates to the previous/next page in the search results (see here).

Buttons for multimedia files

A data record may contain multimedia files which illustrate the meaning of the data record (e.g. images, video clips or sound files).

WebTerm will then show various buttons in the data record header for viewing or playing the various types of multimedia file (see the section see here).

Delete data record

Deletes the current data record (see here).

 

Copy data record

Copies the current data record to the clipboard (see here).

Moves the current data record to the clipboard (see here).

 

Paste data record

Pastes the data record from the clipboard (see here).

 

Merge data record

Merges the data record from the clipboard into the current data record (see here).

Buttons in edit mode

When you are editing terminology in Edit mode, WebTerm shows the following buttons:
